Welcome to my fundraising campaign page. I am looking to offer saltwater fly fishing from Ullapool, in the Scottish Highlands. Ullapool Harbour Trust has just completed a multi million pound redevelopment project, creating a new inner harbour and pontoon. A boat moored at their new pontoon will enable quick convenient access to fly fish the waters of Loch Broom and beyond to the Summer Isles.
The coastal waters here are stunning: beautifully clean and clear supporting a vast array of wildlife. See whales, seabirds, otters and, of course, fish. Shoals of mackerel and herring regularly move through the loch during the season, attracting larger fish. This provides good sport on light saltwater tackle. We can also patrol the coastal margins for ambush predators like pollack, coal fish and many others. Nobody else offers anything like this in the Northwest Highlands. I think it will open up a unique and exciting experience for anyone who enjoys and loves fly fishing as well as wild seascapes. The fund will hopefully enable me to purchase a boat and the equipment I need. To achieve this goal I’m offering:
A deposit on a day saltwater flyfishing, all equipment included
A full day saltwater flyfishing, all equipment included
The opportunity to name one of my successful saltwater flies.
